Description
Allium Ambassador is a stunning giant allium that produces a flower head up to 20cms across. The flowers of Allium Ambassador are a deep purple in colour and look quite stunning. They look their best when planted at the back of borders and they will naturalise to come back in following years.
Cultivation Instructions:
Alliums are late flowering and will thus perform very well with early flowering perennials and are also popular for pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Alliums will naturalise very well in most well drained soils. This variety will with stand some water logging of the soil. Cultivate soils to a depth of 20cms. Plant bulbs with the pointy bit facing upwards. Bulbs should be planted at a depth of 15cms.
Feed bulbs with bone meal or similar during the flowering period to ensure they remain health for years to come. Plant in areas that are not exposed to the worst of the elements and in soils that have not been freshly manured. Regularly feed during the growing season with foods such as well rotted manures, Tomato feed and bone meal.

Keep well fed during the growing season and if possible mulch borders with well rotted manure or compost over the winter.
