Description
Allium Globemaster AGM is a staple favourite in our Chelsea displays as it makes a spectacular display. Allium Globemaster has large violet flower heads with glossy green leaves and it makes an excellent border plant.
AGM = Award Garden Merit given by the RHS for great garden performance.
Cultivation Instructions
Alliums will perform very well with early flowering perennials and in addition they are also popular with bees and butterflies. Allium Globemaster AGM will naturalise very well in most well drained soils.
Cultivate soils to a depth of 20cms and plant bulbs with the pointy bit facing upwards. Bulbs need to be planted as per the growing information.
Feed bulbs with bone meal or similar during the flowering period to ensure they remain health for years to come. Regularly feed during the growing season with foods such as well rotted manures, Tomato feed and bone meal.
Care tips:
Keep well fed during the growing season and mulch borders with well rotted manure or compost over the winter.
