Description
Amorphophallus are a group of tuberous rooted plants that have huge leaves. They are also known as Snake’s Palm or Devil’s Tongue. nepalensis was new to us in 2017 and has performed really well in our garden. It has a large pale creamy yellow spathe which is greenish on the outside.
Aspect: Ideal in the shadier parts of the garden were the soil does not dry out.
Soil types: humus rich soil with good drainage.
