Anemone nemerosa Royal Blue gorgeous medium royal blue flowers with yellow stamens, this is another good naturaliser and Anemone nemerosa Royal Blue is seldom offered. As with all nemerosa they are best grown in shady moist woodland areas or under trees and shrubs.

Cultivation instructions:

Anemone nemerosa Royal Blue are ideal for growing underneath trees, shrubs and in most woodland areas. They like to be grown in humus rich soils in the shadier areas of the garden. In soils that are not rich in humus matter use well rotted compost to add to the soil when cultivating. Cultivate the soil to a depth of 10cms (if possible) and plant rhizomes as per growing information below. Keep soils moist in the first year to encourage good root development. They will grow very well with things such as anemone blandas and trilliums.

Using bulb starter or root grow when first planting will help them to establish for future years flowering.
