Description
Deep orange blooms (Large 6/+cm tubers). Begonias brighten up the shady areas of any garden and are also very good in containers. If planting in containers use a 50/50 mix of multi purpose compost and something similar to John innes number 2. Begonias have a long flowering period which starts in July and goes right through the summer. Begonias are excellent for containers and should be kept well watered but not too wet. In the right conditions they will provide a mass of colour throughout the summer.
Plant in greenhouses or similar from January to March and harden off before planting out after the fear of frosts have passed. Alternatively plant direct into containers or borders from April onwards.
Instructions provided but for further growing instructions see ‘Tim’s Tip’s begonias’ on youtube.
Aspect: Semi shade to full sun.
