Caladium Postman Joyner has fantastic leaves of red edged green.
Caladiums are very attractive plants that are predominantly grown for their stunning leaves, which are often known as ‘Elephant Ears’. They are frost tender so cannot be grown outdoors until all danger of frost has passed. Start growth indoors in February to March in a rich soil with plenty of grit to aid drainage. Once established in a pot they can be left for a few years as long as they are protected from frost over winter.
Tip: Ideal in containers.
Aspect: Indoors or in the warm parts of the garden during the summer months.
Soil type: They like very free draining soils. In heavier soils add grit and or humus matter.
