Sieboldii hybrids are sent out in pots and are extra large. They are relatively easy to grow as long as you plant them in a sheltered position in a compost mixture of fibrous loam, leaf mould, sand and chopped sphagnum. Keep plants moist (as they do not like to get dry) and well shaded.
Feed well during the flowering season with tomorite or similar. Mulch overwinter to give added protection.
Aspect: Heavy shade in soils that do not dry out.
Soil types: humus rich well drained soil.
