Hyacinth Prepared Pink Pearl is a lovely hydrangea pink hyacinth and is one of our best pinks.
Cultivation Instructions
Plant hyacinths for early flowering from early September and planted in bowls or pots with the tips showing. Bowls are ideal for indoor growing and ideally use bulb fibre. After planting put in a dark place – pots with drainage can be put outside and covered with 3-4″ of compost. Bring bulbs indoors in early December when the tips of the flowers are 1.5-2cms above the neck of the bulb. Hyacinth Prepared Aqua flower over the Christmas period onwards.
In subsequent year you can plant prepared Hyacinth Prepared Pink Pearl outside in borders and containers. Grow close to the house so that you can enjoy their fragrance as you pass them by. Cultivate soils well before planting and add humus matter to poor soils. Grow in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in the sunny areas of the garden. Fully hardy in the ground, but have a tendency to be frost tender in containers if we experience a very cold winter.

Care tips:
Indoor growing bulbs but they will need a cool period in a dark place to instigate root growth. Easy to grow if instructions are followed.
Grow with other fragrant varieties such as Narcissi Bridal crown and Paperwhite.
Ideal foods are well rotted manures, tomato feed and bone meal.
