Description
Ipheion uniflorum has lovely white star shaped flowers shaded lilac. This variety increases rapidly and makes a welcome addition to the garden. Ideal for growing in pots.
They are small bulbous perennials with narrow grass-like leaves and honey-scented star-shaped flowers in spring, usually in shades of white or pale blue
Cultivation Instructions
Cultivate soils to a depth of 15cms and plant bulbs 8cms deep and 5cms apart. Ipheion uniflorum like well drained humus rich soils that do not dry out. Split clumps in early autumn or late spring and in the colder gardens mulch well to give winter protection. In early spring ensure young shoots are protected from slugs and snails.

Care tips
Water bulbs after planting and apply a mulch of compost in November/December.
Feed regularly during the growing season with bone meal or tomato food.
