Lilium Mount Cook

Description

Mount Cook is a oriental lily which has stunning rose pink flowers with a soft yelllow centre. Lilies will naturalise well in all garden conditions as long as they do not become waterlogged. In wetter soils add a handful of grit to the hole before planting the bulb to provide that extra drainage. Remember to protect the young shoots from slug and pest damage. Like all bulbs they will need to be fed with a high phosphate and potash feed during the flower and leaf stage to ensure they flower in the following years.

Aspect: Semi shade to full sun

Soil Type: All free draining soils that have been well manured. Happy in heavier clay soils if grit is added to the hole before planting the bulb.
