Description
Muscari Pink Sunrise has lovely soft rose flowers. Excellent for naturalising and planting in grass. Muscari are very easy to grow and multiply. They flower very easily from year to year. They prefer full sun and muscari pink sunrise will also tolerate semi shade. Ideal for planting in grass as they naturalise very well.
Cultivation Instructions:
Before planting your bulbs cultivate soils to a depth of 20 to 30cms and plant bulbs as shown below.. In heavier soils add grit and or humus matter to help with drainage. Muscari can be left to naturalise and as such can be left undisturbed for many years. Feed during the flowering and leaf stage with something like bone meal, well rotted compost or similar.
They can be grown in most soil types including of course containers and are a great asset to the garden. Lift and divide (when dormant in summer) congested clumps, they will spread easily.
Care Tips:
Muscari are ideal for growing in containers especially when planted with tulips or daffodils. Grow muscari with a wide range of tulips and narcissi that flower in March-April.
Protect early growth in the spring from slugs and snails and remove dead heads after flowering to prolong flowering period.
