Description
Triteleia Rudy produce masses of mulithead flowers on their stems. Very attractive umbels of creamy white flowers that have a bluish-violet central stripe. They are long lasting as cut flowers.
Formally known as Brodiaea, Triteleia Rudy make great garden flowers producing masses of multi-headed flowers on their stems. This variety has dense heads of creamy yellow star shaped flowers. They then have a deeper yellow stripe at the centre of each petal. They are long lasting flowers, blooming for up to 6 weeks. As such they are perfect used as cut-flower.
Cultivation Instructions
Grow in a well drained soil in a sheltered part of the garden which is not North facing. Protect from frosts or excessively wet conditions. Cultivate soils to a depth of 15cms adding grit and or well rotted manure at this stage to help with drainage. Plant bulbs 8cms deep and 5-10cms apart in groups of 10 or more for the best effect.
