Agapanthus have really nice long, narrow, glossy green leaves. The strong stems of this variety bare open clusters of dark blue blossoms in summer. Prefers full sun and moist but well drained soil. It may take a year before the Agapanthus establish enough to produce flowers. Also excellent for containers but ensure these are big enough to allow the roots to develop. Feed with bonemeal during the leaf and flowering stage and do not over water. Works well in borders with lilies and crocosmia.
Aspect: Full sun to partial shade
Soil type: Humus rich soils that are well drained.
