Lilium Pink Perfection AGM has large deep pink trumpet lily. Can produce up to 30 heavily scented flowers on a stem, once they are established. Lilies are a very versatile garden plant as they can be grown in borders or containers around the house and garden. Lilies are best left undisturbed for years and only need to be moved when they become overcrowded. Plant them in a well drained soil and they are happy to be planted in the cooler parts of the garden as long as they get some sun during the day. When planting in heavy soils, drainage may be a problem so just add a handful of grit to the hole when planting and they will be fine. Cultivate the soil to a depth of 20cms and plant 10-15cms deep and 15cms apart. Feed during flowering with bonemeal or similar.
AGM = Award of Garden merit given by the RHS.
