Picotee ranunculi are quite new and have lovely multi coloured petals in soft shades.
These larger than average corms are easy to grow and will provide a good show of colour to any garden. They are also very suitable for growing in containers. Germination will be assisted by soaking in water overnight before planting them 7-10 cm deep with their claws downwards.
Soils must be free draining, so in heavier soils add grit or well rotted humus when cultivating to help with drainage. Can also be used for cut flower.
Aspect. Semi to full sun. Ideal for containers.
